That price is unbelievable!! I actually have a chair that is almost exactly like this, but the velour fabric is pea green!! I am planning on taking an upholstery glass to learn how to re-do it! Can’t wait to see what you do with these!
I have a chair almost exactly like that, another cheap find, and I love the caning pattern! So cute. I had big plans of recovering and painting mine but so far I just taped off the upholstery and painted the wood and caning white. I was scared of reupholstering! Can’t wait to see what you do with yours =)
You have these too??? Oh, fun! This will be my first big-girl upholstery job, so we’ll see. I’ll post how-tos if it’s successful or a warning if it’s not: “Don’t try this at home!”
I don’t really have room for these so I’m undecided if I go Brooke style and do something wacky, or go conservative since I might just sell them…
The jealousy is almost eating me alive! $25?!? I can’t wait to see what you do with them. But I shouldn’t be too jealous, because I scored a vintage channel back chair in great condition via Freecycle a few weeks back :)
Great find!! I can’t wait to see what you do with them. Upholstery seems a bit intimidating to me, but I would LOVE to learn how. It is probably just one of those things where you need patience and the right tools, and the rest is just some love and hard work.
I am SO excited to see what you do with these!
I’ve had 2 chairs just like them sitting in my house for 3 months now. Be sure to include step-by-steps ;)

I cannot wait to see what you do with these beauties.

Wow! That’s a great find. Can’t wait to see what you do with them–you’re a great upholsterer
YOU are going to do something FAB with these… I just know it!
What a bargain! I can only imagine how fabulous these will be once you get done with them.
Oh this is going to be gooood! What a great find. Can’t wait to see the finished product!
What a steal! I bought one for around $50 and recovered it earlier this year. http://athomewithh.blogspot.com/2010/02/chair-makeover-story.html

It wasn’t hard at all and it was my first time redoing a chair. Good luck!
Whatever you decide, I know I’ll be thinking to myself – Dag nabbit that woman is awesome! Great find on those, my dear!

OMG I think I just bought the “cousin” to these chairs at an estate – same color and everything just a wingback version.
What a great find! Can’t wait to see the after photos!
I got a similar pair for $20. No tufting and the color is a bit more of a mustard, but they are very comfortable. Eventually I’ll recover them :)
