JJ Cole Diaper Caddy Giveaway
I’ve always known a newborn is a lot of work, but WOAH, a newborn is a lot of work! I’m easing into the usual activities that used to make up my day; cooking, cleaning, designing, blogging… but it all happens around Owen’s schedule.
{update 01/16/2011: I’ve been using the drawer in the diaper caddy to hold the trash bags for our diaper trash can. Holds the roll of refill bags PERFECTLY!}
We change an inordinate amount of diapers. My husband and I are changing his diaper before each feeding at least {a minimum of 10 times per day} and throw in an extra two or three for when he’s being a super performer!
I don’t always have the wherewithall, and baby doesn’t always have the patience for me to make it to the changing table. JJ Cole sent me this fabulous solution: their diaper caddy! They, of course, sent me the perfect “solid slate” that matches all things Owen. So when his 2 a.m. feeding hits, I can change baby’s diaper, get him fed, swaddled, and back to sleep all in the same room!
In my caddy now: newborn diapers, vaseline, bag balm, wipes, and the included changing pad. LOVE this product {as well as other JJ Cole products, like the Bundle Me, their hip diaper bags, travel head support and muslin blanket set.}

This looks really useful, as well as attractive. I’m sure that we’ll use it for other storage once my girls are out of diapers (soon I hope!!!).
I hear you on the bazillion diaper changes. With our son it seemed as if he would wet the new diaper within 5 minutes of changing him.

I’m in denial that I too will be changing 10+ diapers a day in a few short weeks. With my first, all changes HAD to take place on the changing table. With #3, I need a caddy!

I had the same idea last week because I am so tired of hauling my 24lb 1 year old daughter up and down the staris just to change a diaper. This is great! Beats my system: my downstairs “changing table” is my living ottoman; one half baby towel, the other half covered with diapers, wipes and ointment strewn about. One of us is always bumping into it, knocking things to the floor…. Why didn’t I think of this?

I would love this carrier. I usually end up changing a diaper and needing the wipes, that are like 25 feet away sitting on the chair. And having a changing pad would be uber convenient and better for the environment than the disposable ones that I have been buying. I am a super big fan of their bundle me :)

Our diaper changing station is a “mobile” one–ie, it is wherever Tabitha and her system 180 diaper bag are, so a diaper caddy would really come in handy in giving us a way to change her in the house and not rely on the diaper bag for everything!
Ooh…I’m almost 7 months now and in full nesting mode, so I absolutely can’t resist any sort of doohicky (<– highly technical term) to keep my life more organized.
