Baby Shower Invitations
I’m hosting my friend April’s baby shower next weekend, and although I’m dying to share the details as we plan them, I don’t want to spoil it! :)
Here are the invitations I made and sent out a few weeks ago… designed in photoshop, printed one side on heavy paper and the other on a shiny thin paper, and sandwiched together over a popsicle stick using a xyron label maker. We’re having an ice cream party!

Inspiration for the invitation from the Imprintables Blog.

That is adorable, Brooke!
I’m going to be at a baby shower that Saturday, too :) And, if I know my cousin (who is having her second baby but her first little girl) and her best friend, it will be totally over the top. As in, “Did I accidentally crash a wedding or an Oscar party… or is this really the baby shower???”
At least I’ll have the fun of leaving with a swag bag. Ha ha ha :)
That is absolutely adorable. So clever to make it a giant popsicle.
They turned out SO cute. Nice!
I can’t wait to see what you do for the party.
Those are so cute! What a great friend you must be and I can’t wait to hear party details.
Seriously Brooke!? SO CUTE! Love your work.
SO cute! I just found your blog and I love it!
Question – did you have these printed online or at a print shop, or did you do them on an in-home printer? And if you did them at home, do you mind sharing what kind of printer you use? Mine doesn’t yield results like that!
@Stacy – these were printed at Kinkos, but it’s not too expensive because I printed on 12″x18″ paper, so I got about 9 to a page.
My printer doesn’t do anything this great either, but if you buy good paper, it’ll do the job.
How darling! April is one lucky girl!!
I need to know the font on the word “SCOOP”! It is beautiful…can you share!?
@rebecca – the “scoop” font is “Typo Upright”. You can download it for free here:
