Modesty Panel for the Desk

Only so much you can do with the non-stop computer cords under the desk. This is my favorite article for clearing the cords, but I couldn’t resist another excuse to add pattern to a room.

I bought some Amy Butler fabric, folded it the same height as the desk, and used small nails and mini binder clips to attach them temporarily. YES, a beautifully sewn and gathered modesty panel would have been fantastic, but I couldn’t help but feel like I might want to use this great fabric for something else down the line… I couldn’t bring myself to cut it!

Very cute fabric. Have I ever told you how much I hate cords! Ick! This is a really nice way to hide them.

Love the fabric and I never thought of a panel like that to hide cords, great idea!

I love the fabric. It looks great and this is such a clever idea. But, you still have a cord hanging down. Check out Cord Cradles at http://www.cordcradle.com. They are easy to use (no tools, no moving furniture) and will hold cords securely out of sight.
