Hubby’s Bathroom Makeover

My husband likes to think of the guest bathroom as “his,” and even affectionately names it his “office.” He went out of town, so I painted, redecorated, and caught his reaction on tape… {and do I really talk with my hands like that, or is that a bi-product of talking to yourself in the mirror?}

Ok, we rewinded Jason’s entrance about 20 times and cracked up each time. That was hilarious and spot on. So….
1. Love that you left the west elm thing brown instead of painting it. It looks great
2. Love the striped towel… that was a new addition and I think it looks great
3. Good call on the brown twigs… I think it looks great on the table
4. Table looks so great and perfect
5. Love the wall art you made… so cute and love the little sayings
6. I totally love the wall color… it looks so much better with all the accessories
7. So cute!

@Shannon – thanks for your help in picking out the perfect accessories! Mister Hall is a little embarrassed that I posted his reaction, but it can’t be any worse than what I was doing with my hands in that video. He’s a cutie – and that was his ACTUAL reaction – I did NOT make him do that twice!

3. Jules

That was adorable! Great job. :)

4. Whitney@Whisker Graphics

Your bathroom turned out great! I laughed (in a good way) at your husband’s response and loved that you know him so well that you predicted it.

5. Jess LC

Very cool! I love how you positioned the table under the towel bar to make it part of the composition.

Props for also getting one of those mini video cameras, I have been looking into them the past few weeks but haven’t had the guts to spring for one and start video posting. How do you like it so far? – The quality of the video and your ‘camera skills’ were great!

6. Laura B

That is classic, Brookie. And J’s reaction is HILarious!

7. Laura

Hilarious! I am sitting here cracking up! Bathroom looks great too.

8. ohbrooke

Ok, everyone, let’s be clear. You’re laughing at how cute my hubby is in his unnaturally over-excited reaction, right?!! Not laughing AT ME?

Comfort-zone completely out the window at this point… :)

9. Laura

I am laughing at how completely cute Jason is…and how well you know him. I love that you totally predicted his reaction!

Hello Brooke,

Apologies for intruding in this post, but I just wanted to let you know how pleasantly surprised I was by finding my designs all over your blog: the menu background image and pattern, the scattered flowers and, of course, the bird and flower in your logo.

I will mention your blog on LittleLion’s presence on Facebook and make sure to let you know.

Best,

LittleLion

I was just looking at that West Elm Block print thing today and thinking that if you changed the mounts it would make a great handle for a front door.

Nicely done.

Only thing missing is the reading material. It’s can’t really be his office unless he has something to read while doing his business…right?

I love the bathroom. You are so awesomely talented. And Jason, what a handsome guy you are. You look just like your mother!

14. Tessa

Hahaha I love how you predicated your husband’s reaction! Where is that rug from, by the way?? It totally matches the new towels I picked out for my new bathroom!

15. kim
